Inflammaging

The chronic, low-grade inflammation that develops with age and contributes to most age-related diseases. A portmanteau of "inflammation" and "aging." Your immune system slowly turns against you.

You mean the reason my bench press isn't improving? It's like your immune system hits 40 and suddenly thinks 'Hey, let's make life spicy by going rogue.' "My joints feel like they're on fire! Is this just inflammaging, or did I go too hard on leg day?"

What do you get when your body stages a coup d'Γ©tat and drafts your own immune cells as enemy agents? Welcome to the biological drama where aging is just the rehearsal for eternity. Maybe cryonics will promise a life without hot soup joints? "If inflammaging messes with us, maybe we should just upload our minds to a server and take our chances there."

Aging is your body's attempt to compete with forest firesβ€”low-grade inflammation is your new personal trainer, pushing barriers without permission. But I’m still out here setting records, despite this rogue DJ in my joints playing all the wrong vibes. "Yeah, inflammaging makes it tough, but not as tough as beating 30-somethings at every 10K!"
